There has been a change up for this new blog entry so I am Chief Bromden or Chief Broom you may call me (even though I do not really enjoy that name). I am the protagonist of the novelOne Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest.Ken Kesey portrayed me as a dynamic character. I start of as the typical dumb and deaf person that is an outcast. I just sit by myself, but I start to involve into this “sidekick” persona to Patrick McMurphy. Since I am narrating the novel the literary term persona is used. I used my experience and what I hear around to explain my story and the stories of the patience at the mental hospital. The fog that I am always narrating about is imagery. It is used to portray my mental disability.
The group therapy is originally used to help the patience express their feeling out and receive help, but that is not the case. When someone shares their experiences they are humiliated. It ends up with tearing up peoples esteem, and embarrassing them. The doctor’s theory is that everyone must work with the group before being released. So that they can achieve a democracy in the ward. I do not agree with his statement or theory because it makes no sense. Firstly, it is not very convincing, and it is very ridiculous.
* Character Group Therapy
My Evaluation:
I rate myself a 7.
Improvements: be more louder, have more confidence in what I am saying, a little awkward since it was only 4 of us in the Group Therapy.
Best in your performance of the character (Chief): I was very open about how I lied about who I claimed to be, spoke with the true.

Taking the kids from our districts, forcing them to kill one another while we watch – this is the Capitol’s way of reminding us how totally we are at their mercy.

“I picked up an issue of Cosmopolitan the other day that had tips for job interviews, because I was like, ‘I need to get better at interviews.’ The article was basically about how to get someone not to hate you in 20 minutes. Every single thing they told you not to do, I was like, ‘I do that every day’”
